Has anyone stayed at (or heard good/bad things about) any of the following B&Bs:
- Booklovers B&B
- Mount Victoria Homestay/B&B
- Tinakori Lodge

Thanks in advance,

RR,

I stayed at the Tinakori Lodge when I was in Wellington last September. Very nice, quite small, slightly chintzy furniture etc but very comfortable, very welcoming, central and reasonably cheap (I paid $110 per night for a double room with an en-suite). It took me between 5-10 minutes to walk right into the centre of the CBD. You are also very close to the Botanical Gardens (well worth a stroll if you get the chance). Also, if you have time, worth going to the Te Papa museum, altough that is the other side of town, probably a good 20 minute walk from Tinakori. Lots of lovely coffee shops in Wellington CBD... better than here in Auckland!

If you are looking for a comfy place to rest your head, don't need deluxe surroundings, I would recommend Tinakori Lodge.
