Hi,

I wonder if anyone here who is in Hawkes Bay or surrounding area, could give me names/locations of local training providers/colleges. I am thinking of doing a level 5 qualification in teaching, and Im looking for a placement...

Sorry can't help you on Hawkes Bay, but what exactly is a level 5 qualification in teaching? Is it a NZ qualification?

Yes, level 5, NZ qualification, if you have PR and a placement it is free, and it starts in Feb 08.

It's Adult Education though isn't it if I have read it correctly?

I would like to teach Secondary School English if possible - no formal teaching qualifications here in the UK (like PGCE)
just my basic degree - food for thought though, thank you

No probs, yes it is adult...Im debating whether to go primary or adult, as I have a degree also...and was three quarters way through my 2 year PGCE and had to leave due to car accident:mad:

So going to have to do it again in NZ!!!
