How was it said?
Every great journey starts with the first step?
Well, if you bite the bullet you won't have to bite the dust.
GO-GO-GO Dragonfly! :nice1

Hi everyone
Thanks for the kind words & bananas :)
holland – we live in billinge, just outside st helens so I could have said we lived in wigan just as easily
John z – well, MIL has accused us of taking half her life off her & as she only has half a life (widowed a few years ago)… well, you can imagine the scene !!! we wouldn’t have told her so early on in the process, but she was staying with us & we decided to tell her straight rather than risk her overhearing the kids/us discussing things & then her thinking we were going behind her back. sometimes honesty might not be the best policy??!!!

Weve got the mil with us at present as she helped the wife over with the kids which saved me a long trip two and fro.I found it harder on my own parents as im the only one of 4 with kids so i took all the grandkids (3) away in one go but if you wait for them to pass then the kids will be too old and you probably will never do it.So it can be heartwrenching at the beginning but sometimes you have to go with your own wishes.
