Hi there
I am an RN working at ChC Womens which is attached to ChC 'Public' as they call it here - just in to my third week and really enjoying myself. My specialty is neonatal. So far the facilities and staffing have been good. Only things i found worth deep consideration is - less holiday (and only the BH if you work them), less sick pay (10 days per year paid although touch wood normally never off sick so shouldn't be a problem) and a 40 hr week. They also promised me long shifts and when i got here was on rota for short shifts :wah which the late finishes at 23.15 so after 'raising it ' i have been put on long shifts (12hrs) from November. :D

All in all tho staff are very friendly and also know a brit working in mental health too who has been here 6 months and lovin it too :-)
:cheers

My OH should be starting in the Emergency Room there in mid-January. She really wants to be on the long shifts as well.
