Hi there

Will be arriving in Auckland on 23rd Jan and have already lined up a car to buy... :nice1

It's a diesel and was just wondering what the price of diesel / Litre is at the garage and also if someone could explain the Mileage tax... for want of a better word..I understand you have to buy milage from a post shop...is this expensive?? please advise prices also do you but it by the month/6 month or is it worked out on the size of the engine?? Does it work along the line of you pay for say 10,000 km, and renew it when it runs out???

That's about right, but diesel road user charges tend to bring the price closer to that of petrol.
