Ok, probably another stoopid question, but is there any reason why a UK bought laptop cannot be taken and used in NZ?

I'm using mine which I bought in the UK a couple of weeks before we flew out - absolutely no reason at all why UK laptop shouldn't work here - even phone connections are the same here as UK so you won't have any probs linking up to internet either... :nice1
