We have our booking for our Medicals on 5 October and today the big diet /exercise started - drinking water like made - no chocolates - any other suggestions to loose 8 cm around the waist - hate to think of OH who we havent got the tape measure out to him!!!;)
We having to pay R1500 each for our medicals and so really dont want to have to pay another R300 because the BMI is wrong.:mad:

The only other suggestion I would make is not to worry about it. If his BMI is high and needs to have additional bloodwork done, it will likely come back normal. Don't sweat it. My experience with NZIS was that they were really very nice and are very open to welcoming as many qualified immigrants as they can.

Also don't eat anything the morning of your medical then if BMI is over they can do fasting blood tests there and then. Saves time and money!!!

By increasing your exercise you should help your BMI but also you will lower cholesterol levels and blood pressure etc if you do need to have blood work done.
