Hi all,

Just thought I would introduce myself and join in with my bits and bobs,

I am Robert and I have had my EOI picked from the pool last week, I am looking to emigrate to New Zealand with my wife and four sons, hopefully for a nicer way of life.

I am unsure as to what jobs to apply for, my current job is a self employed builder / electrical contractor, but I would like a job off the tools.

Do I need to get registered as an Electrician over there, whats the process, I have read about New Zealand House running courses ?

If any ones got any advice, I have friends in Auckland that have been there for three years and love it, but they do give us their honest opinion about life, living and all the problems that go with it, but it still sounds good.
