well I realised today we have been here 3 months, I just can't believe it.

So how are we finding it? I won't say it has all been plain sailing far from it, but on the whole we are both really enjoying it. We had a slight mishap with PR on first arriving as OH job offer was only for 9 months. Luckily they made him permanent after a few weeks. And this week we received our passports back with the BLUE STICKERS!!!!!!:raebanana A big relief all round.

This week has been really good too and we have made an unconditional offer on an old farmhouse in Pirongia that has been excepted. We both fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. And can you believe it has central heating!!! The local school was renewing there heating a few years ago and they have used the old radiators. We don't move in until December, as long as we are in by Christmas.

OH loves his job and it is really good to see him more relaxed and enjoying work for a change. Beats flying to Germany every week that is for sure. I've found a job too which is great. I am training dairy farmers to use a new handheld device for herd testing. It's great getting paid explore the area, off to Whitianga next week for the day, hope the weather is good.

Neither of us feels homesick, we keep in contact with family regularly and have Skype working well. I did hear the song on the radio that we danced to when we got married, it made me think of family back home, felt a bit sad so I turned it off. Not sure I'm ready to go there yet.

We have definatley changed our lives coming out to NZ, and there is more things to do at weekends. We have been off most weekends since we arrived which is great. It still isn't home, quite but it is close. I can't wait to get into our own home, I think it will make a difference.

I find NZ a really easy place to live in, everyone is freindly and most people are interested and want to talk. I feel less threatend here than in the UK.

It is still early days but I think things are looking really good. It is a hard journey to get here but most definaltely worth all the effort. :nice1

Hi M&J

You sound so happy and relaxed. It's lovely to hear. It's also lovely to hear that it's been worth all the effort as I really need to hear that right now :nice1

I am training dairy farmers to use a new handheld device for herd testing.

Surely they don't need a device to test for a herd, they can't be that difficult to spot, can they :laugh

You two always look pretty relaxed when we see you, so you'll be positively horizontal in your own home. Pirongia looks lovely too.

I feel a combined house warming/crimbo session in the offing.

BBB - A joint house warming/crimbo party sounds a great idea!!!

Steve - No worries about the table and chairs just give us a shout when you have a min.

Kim - The bed from furniture Court is great, we will definatley be after some more stuff once in Pirongia as we have more rooms to fill.
