Hi --

Just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for all of the helpful information and sharing your stories as I've been lurking on the forum for some time. It looks like my husband is going to take a job in Dunedin which means we will be relocating (with two dogs, no kids yet) from Atlanta, USA in the spring.

We are so excited (visited last year and loved it) but it does not seem real at all ... so many headaches before we will get there (the thought of selling the house in this market makes me a little sick) but we are confident it will be worth it!!!

Ah!!! I guess I need to work on my NZ vocabulary ... we'll be arriving approximately April 2008 ... USA Spring, NZ Autumn ...

I was reading a post from a guy in the UK who was having four summers in a row and was more than a bit jealous, realizing that we will have two winters in a row (and a Dunedin winter, at that). I think I can handle it. :clap
