Well it seems posting on this website has helped us come to a few conclusions.

Like deciding to fly out to NZ on the 24th to go for it!

I emailed a few agencies and I've mailed a few companies direct, and I now have a telephone interview with the biggest IT outsourcing company in NZ... yikes! So please think of me Wed/Thurs!

When OH had 'phone interviews some were 'techy' type and some were 'HR' type.

If this could apply to your situation, try to find out beforehand.

This may sound obvious thing to do, but it threw poor old OH when they changed plans suddenly!!! :roll

It is going to be an informal chat with a techy side to it as that is part of their requirements.

I'm revising into my Oracle 10g books like crazy, to refresh my memory and increase my awareness some elements that I don't really use that frequently in my job.

Thanks for all the positive support... I'm actually still waiting to find out when it's taking place (Looks like it'll be Wednesday Night UK time)....

Just got off the phone from my interview which has seemed to go really well - looks like I will be having a more formal interview next week but I should know by the morning....
