Hi guys,

Ive managed to get tickets to see Justin Timberlake in nov, scrummy little fella!!! We havent even been up to Auckland yet let alone the vector arena. Can anyone who knows the area give me a clue re where to park, preferably somewhere that we wont have to queue for hrs to get out after :laugh

There is lots of signed parking when there are events at the arena. Whatever you do don't park at Foodtown as they will tow you!
I've always managed to grab a park in Plumer St, which is across the main road (Quay St).

I literally lived next door to the vector arena at the Railway Campus, although at the time (I moved in January) the arena was still being built. There is uncovered parking for $5/day all around the old Raiway station and in front of it on Te Taou Cresent as well street parking on Beach Road and Anzac Ave. On the occasions that I rented cars I was always able to find nearby street parking, although with a major event going on I'd have to say the safest bet is Auckland Central Car Park just off the motorway even if it is a ten minute walk. Also if you take the SH16 to its end in Parnell there is a lot of free on the street parking about 10 minutes walk from the arena.
