Well the move has come a lot closer now, I had a interview in London for a teching position in pukekohe and got the job:clap , had a phone call at 8am on sunday saying the job was mine, so can't wait now. Time to apply for work visa then submit PR application when we arrive in nz. :)

Seems pukekohe is roughly equidistance from hamilton and auckland which should help my other half with his employment options. :)

One happy enz forum member. :)

Congratulations! Is it a primary or secondary teaching position? Did you get it thr' an agency? Would love any further details as I'm currently trying to get a primary teaching job...

Hi guys

The date of our arrival is the 21st of Jan 08, we booked the flights a while ago as we were going to do the WHV option. Don't need that now.:) Got a few days of holiday in Hong Kong first can't wait for that, we love Hong Kong.

The job was organised through 'Oasis Education' by Martin Strang (yes it's an agency) he is well known in the overseas teacher employment front. If you go to the London expo he may be there, he was at the last one. My position is in a secondary school as an English teacher.
