Hi everybody
The last EOI selection was held on 12 September, and the next is expected this week.
I have submitted online EOI application, and my question is

"Does the EOI pool selection and the online application selection take place at the same time?"

The confustion is that on the Immigration.gov.nz site, they use world All EOI .....selected;
Does this means All applications in those categories were selected and the pool is empty or still there will be remaining applications in the pool with the same or more points than the selected applicants?

As far as I am aware there is no distinction between how EOI's are submitted. All EOI's are the same.

Not totally sure what you mean by your second question. Maybe someone who is in the middle of the process at the moment can explain. But, there are generally a lot of applications that remain in the pool after each selection. Some with more points than those selected, as points total are not the only creteria if they are selecting from those below the 'guaranteed' total. eg they might select ones with less that X as a total but with Y as work experience in a field of short supply.
