Congrats.

I couldn't wait to tell MIL, sadly though she didn't explode. Now I live in constant fear she might visit. Of course if she does it won't be for a day or two, it will be for weeks.

On the bright side, it's easier to buy guns here, and with all the construction work going on around us they'd never find the body.

What does this means?

By the way, when EOI is selected, what is the percentage of being rejected some way in the middle ?

What will be next ?

Congrats to you! Being a MIL myself I'm beginning to wonder if anyone of my DILs are planning to give me concrete boots????

I should probably point out that my MIL comments were specific, not general - I'm not related to Bernard Manning or Jim Davidson.

I've met some MIL's that were actually quite nice :)

Hi Syed,

Congratulations on your EOI being selected :clap from the pool !

As far as I know, after you have submitted your EOI, it is either selected from the pool or rejected.

When it is selected it means that someone from INZ will do a preliminary check on what you have stated in your EOI and decide whether or not you will be given an Invitation to Apply (ITA). If this decision is positive, your status on the website should change to "Decision Successful" and you can then wait for the ITA to arrive in the post.

I would think the only reason the EOI would be rejected after selection from the pool would have to do with either not meeting the requirements or INZ having doubts about what you have claimed points for in your EOI. I haven't heard of this happening very often though, if at all, so you should be fine.

Cheers,
Silver

Phew, I'm glad about that Baldy. Had visions of a painful and sticky end coming my way!

Thanks Silver
Now I will wait for "Decision Successful" on the INZ site...I provided the best and correct information, so lets see.
Wish all goes smoothly....
Thanks all

You're welcome Syed.

Please don't be discouraged. Being selected from the pool (as someone rightfully pointed out to me earlier), is a major step in the process as it does mean that at first glance INZ feel you do meet the requirements for an ITA.

You should be fine and fingers and toes crossed that your wait is shorter rather than longer !

Cheers !
