Hi
As said on another thread we have decided to go with Crown but are still sorting our insurance out.
Our problem is that we have a lot of stuff. There are 4 of us all with our own stuff etc and we have been quoted for a 40ft high cube plus a part container for the remainder. In New Zealand we will be having 3 seperate properties although the bulk of it will be for our house when built.
We were told by all removal companies that we should have a lump sum policy as to do a detailed inventory will take a very long time. They were all in agreeance over this. We have contacted Letton Percival and they have told us that they do not do lump Policies and that we would have to fully itemise everything. All the others have said they will give us a lump price and if we thought it too much or too little we can increase or decrease it. Any items over £800 will have to be itemised.
Has anyone here had experience of lump policies or is it advisable to itemise
and find out the replacement cost of each item which is what is being asked.
But that is going to take many weeks.

Thankyou for your advice.
By the way Letton Percival have said that the items in the shared container will be at a higher rate.
