Hi,

I am claiming for over 10 years experience in IT. However in 1999 I contracted at a few places for a year and I think it will be hard to get references for these places as they probably don't know who I am - also I don't have a solicitor anymore as I am a permie.

What I was thining of doing is putting in all my permanent work from 1999 and also from 1998-1994 - is this OK ?

Someone thought that the 10 years had to be continuous.

If so then its probably another letter from a solicitor I'm gonna have to pay for.

cheers

I assume that you are applying under the skilled migrant category in which case the work experience doesn't have to be continuous.

As long as you can demonstrate at least 30 hours per week for the amount of years that you are claiming for then it should be no problem (assuming the experience is relevant of course).
