Hi everyone. I just wondered if you could help. I submitted my EOI in July with what I thought was 115 points. I was selected from the pool immediately and was given the Congratulations your EOI has been Selected no probs.My status on the website also said “Selected “Then I received an email from NZIS saying they had cut my points to 105 and put me back in the pool. My status on the web site has now changed to “Submitted”
My question is will my EOI ever be in the “Selected” state again or will it just flounder at the bottom of the pool for 6 months? Do they know it’s in there as it has been in and out of the pool?

Depends why they de-selected you? Have you lost points for a skill or similar?

If you were selected because you had bonus points for that (105 is low otherwise) then you are waiting for the selction to go to 105 pts - unless you have other bonus points that are selction criteria. qualification, job, work experience in a skilled area - there is a topic on this somewhere.
