Has anyone has their EOI status changed from 'selected' to 'successful' (or whatever the next step is?!) from the 12/09/07 EOI draw?
My OH was selected on 12/09/07 with 185 points, with job offer, in skill shortage list ,but have not heard anymore.

Seems strange as we were also selected on 12/09/2007 with 140 points - no job offer and no skills shortage. We were told on Wednesday our application had been knocked back to 125 points but still being accepted and our ITA arrived in the post today. I have heard it sometimes it depends on which centre is looking at the application. Where are you? We are in Essex and it was a London office dealing with ours.
I'm sure it will come through soon - stay positive

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I am getting very anxious now as we thought that our EOI would be dealt with by NZ Wellington - we are English Expats but have been working in Hong Kong for the last 8 years.
Wellington have now said that our EOI is being assessed by Bangkok.
We still haven't heard anything!
Is is unusual to have to wait this long for EOI to be assessed (with a job offer/accredited company & skill shortage)?
I'm worrying that, if it's taking excessively long at this stage, then the ITA assessment could take months (if we ever get it)!!
Congratulations on receiving your ITA, Perksy & best of luck with your submission.

Hi Perksy
You have been really lucky, it seems that they review selected EOIs with next fortnight EOI selection. As I can see in your signature, your descision successful was exactly during the next EOI pool selection. My EOI was selected at 26/09/2007 with 130 points and no job offer. I did not mentioned 10 points for experience in Long term skill shortage list, as this apply to applicants with job offer. They might also reduce my points to 125, due to the fact that my masters and bechelors are not from China.
Hafl pint : I suggest you check each fortnight, I am sure next is your turn...
hope this can help
