I see tomorrow on ITV AT 7.30pm some regions are showing a programme called "Heart of the Country" which is about a couple who made the decision to sell their Lincolnshire farm and carve out a new life for themselves in NZ.
Could be worth a watch??

Oh dear - sounds like you're upset! I would tape it but you have different systems over there and wouldn't be able to play it back - but I could always tape it for you and send it to you in NZ!!
Sorry

Hi, Tanya,
Ohhhhh, no, not upset.. just idling and musing.. something I"m doing a lot of these days, waiting for my house to sell.. going a bit sideways from cabin fever, is all.. I am sorry if my tone seemed petulant.. I didn't mean it that way at all.
I think I'll go for a long walk today!!
Luvvies to you always, Rae

Can't see that listed in the TV listings. Is it a regional programme? what ITV do you have? Cheers.

I did say "some" regions.
Looking at my tv listing, ITV regions Anglia, West, Granada and Wales are showing something else. I could always tape it and send the tape to anyone who wants it, then they could send it on (if it's any good!)

Hi
I can not see the program mentioned on STV or Border either.
So if you are going to video the prog and send it around I would be very glad if you added me to the list.
Best Wishes

Any one in the Central ITV region that could tape it too?
I have had a few requests for the tape. If there were a couple doing the rounds it won't take people so long to have to wait for the tapes.
Let me know if someone else is taping it for the others too.

For those "hooked" on NZ go to On The Box (www.onthebox.com) and click on the search tab to the right of the page, search for New Zealand and you'll see all the relevent programmes on UK TV.

Thanks for the tip Mark, a very useful site.
The programs I found were:
Secrets of New Zealand; about Earthquakes, Volcanoes and beatuiful views over calm lakes!! :?
Serious crash unit a documentary following the work of the Serious crash unit in NZ!! :uhoh
And finally to cap it off;
"Do or Die: Lost in the Bush
Six people who almost died in New Zealand's bush return to the wilderness for an action-packed weekend " :eek
And even after that I can not wait to go. :clap Anyone got any suggestions for making the next six months go a little faster.
Cheers

we taped it also, if you want i can post my copy out also if you PM me an address or PM me on how you want to work it if you have a few people wanting to see it
dont worry if you missed it, there wasnt really much about NZ or immigration more about the differing farming styles.

Actually it was rubbish wasn't it - a whole 10 minutes about a guy who went out 3 years ago and farms. Nice pictures of them burning the crop though. More about farming that actually emigrating so if you didn't get to see it, you won't lose any sleep over it!!
Nicola (on the forum) was wanting it - can I get her to PM you (that is if she still wants it!)
Cheers

If you've got Sky Digital you can change which regional channels you receive. The only downside is I don't know how !
Will look on the net and post a solution if I find one. It definately can be done though !
