From an Ontario paper a letter states "Vote splitting enables the smaller parties to gain a foothold far beyond what the numbers supporting them should allow." and earlier " We were without a government for many weeks as the haggling went on."
Is this the true picture of your system of elections?
I am trying to get a feel for this system to help decide how to vote here in Ontario's referendum.
I did check your elected members and notice you have 2 parties with sizable numbers, but no majority, and then several with smaller numbers of members. This is what the opponents of this point out will befall Ontario, with no one able to make decisions.
Thanks for any input.
