For anyone else as green as we are re. job adverts and what the terminology means............
"It is a standard practice of plunder to advertise in NZ for Australian jobs
- you'll see in the body of the ad that the location is in North West Wellington (about 2200 kilometres North West actually!)
All Kiwis know what is meant in the advertisement, unfortunately those not familiar with NZ and Australia don't! Sorry about that - the roles are all in Australia. . ."
A reply from a job agency when they e-mailed us re. a Wellington job my hubby had applied for asking if he "would consider a start in Melbourne, Sydney".
all these new things to get used to:laugh
hope this is useful
