As we've just had the offer accepted on our new house purchase :raebanana and the rental we are living in is up to rent. The closest place is probably Plimmerton or Whitby if you look on a map.
It's in the most fantastic location overlooking the Pauatahanui inlet and wildlife reserve with stunning views of the hills.
It is approx 40 mins driving from Wellington CBD, there is a train station 5 mins drive down the road which has an excellent service into Wellington.
The property itself is not that big, two bedrooms and open plan living/dining/kitchen. It's perfect for the two of us or maybe suit a couple with one child.
It comes with absolutely everything, it was a Bach holiday home so could have all the crockery, cutlery, iron etc., all you would need is yourself, your bedding & clothing. We had an agreement with the landlord that as & when we bought items of furniture, he would take his away, which is what he has done, but I'm sure he'd replace it again when we leave.
We hope to be out of here between 3 to 6 weeks time, so if you are interested or have any questions let us know, I have put a couple of pictures below.
