and loving it. We're very fortunate to have other halfs family here who have helped enormously and made it so much easier to settle in initially, loaned us a car and just about everything we could possibly need. We've now bought washing machine and tumble drier, LCD television, heater (it was cold and windy when we first arrived) and are awaiting delivery of our new bed. All very exciting, now we just need jobs so that some money comes in instead of just going out:nice1

We have a nice little rental unit which is ideal for now and sparsely furnished (but adequate) until our shipping arrives. :raebanana

Welcome to the land of the long white cloud. Whereabouts have you landed? North? South?

Good luck with the job hunting.

Hi, welcome and lovely to hear you are settling in already. I'm coming out to stay in Taranaki in January, to New Plymouth....but hopefully it will be a bit warmer by then!

Congats in getting there anyway.

Hello there - and welcome! Hope the weather picks up for you soon, it's blowing a gale here in Welly; no doubt the sun will come out tomorrow when the children go back to school!
