hi,

i have been reading this forum for the past 8 months and i have found it very useful on finding information for our forthcoming move to nz (i have tried to register several times but the forum would n't accept my email address).
so at long last i would like to intoduce myself.
my partner & i are moving to nz in january 08. my partner has been offerd a job in carpentry & i am a registerd nurse (no job to go to but im sure i will find one). we are excited about the move but i feel sad about leaving friends & famlly, especially my mum as we are very close. my family think we are a little crazy selling our home & moving to a place we have never visited but the opportunity has come along and if we turn it down we may live to regret it.

hi nat,

thankyou for your warm welcome, im so touched with all the welcomes i have recieved. what a great forum!
we have sold our house but still waiting for confirmation on the completion date which will hopefully be in a couple of weeks.
the removal company came yesterday to ship our belongings over so we are living in a bare house at the mo. after completion we are staying at my mums house until we fly over in jan.
we have n't gained residency yet, we hope to start that process once there (if we settle).
