Apologies, as I am sure this has been covered in many other threads...

Can anyone recommend good websites and agents for IT (project mgt) jobs? I am already looking at Seek, but I am sure there must be more out there.

Ideally I want to get a job in Christchurch / South Island.

Search 4 sometimes gets jobs that aren't advertised on Seek.

Have you tried contacting agencies directly - quite often jobs are filled before they are advertised, especially in IT, and even more so in project management.

Seek or direct with companies is your only bet. Most people advertise on Seek, Trademe has a good selection too. My space is free for advertisers so there are loads on there most of the time.

I found if you search on Seek its better to have no search criteria as you can miss one good job by it being under a single section. Boring but if you keep up everyday you can just look at new adverts. Agencies tend to readvertise hard to fill positions and most jobs have 4 agencies per job so there are duplicates.
My role now (sales) had gone under estate agents by mistake and I certainly do not sell houses :laugh

for Christchurch- talk to Malcom Dow at Hudson. I would also recommend Michelle Berry/Matt Love Smith at Manpower (christchurch office).

Robert Walters are good for Auckland & Wellington..
