We were delighted to be selected from the pool for further consideration on the 10/10 as we only put our application in just over a week ago with 125 points and no job offer.
My question is we found this out by logging into the the http://www.immigration.govt.nz/ website, do we have to keep watching this or for an ITA offer to find out first or will they write or email this offer if it comes along. Due to the UK postal strikes we said on the EOI please contact us by email but should a ITA arrive by mail anyway?
TIA

Congratulations Andrew and Julie:nice1
Your status on the NZIS website will change from 'selected' to 'successful' if your points are correct etc. Then you should receive your ITA shortly afterwards ( occasionally its the other way around). If you are in the UK your application may be transferred to London branch for further consideration. Be prepared for a bit of a wait as at the moment applications without job offers are taking some time to process. We have been waiting over 5 months, however our application was allocated to a case officer who then went on leave and it sat on their desk for goodness knows how long! Hopefully you won't have any problems of that sort. I'd still expect a wait of 2 - 4 months though.
Good luck.

Our EOI status changed on the website and we received our ITA the next day by mail. We too had contact us via e-mail on all relevant sections but the ITA is a hard copy of your EOI [if you've sumitted it via the internet]. It took seven weeks from being selected to getting our ITA.

Congratulations
I think we have same points, see my signature.
I am currently in China, and waiting for status change. It is 3rd week since I was selected. I check daily this forum and my status on the web. It just take a minute or so...
I am also working on my NZQA at the same time, so if you need to do NZQA try to focus on that.
I am expecting my ITA between 2 to 3 months after my selection....
Wish you good luck
