This is random, but can you get Swifters in NZ? With two dogs who seem to be shedding constantly, I would be lost without them ...

Actually, I wrote the name wrong ... they are called Swiffers. They are pads that attach to the base of mop handle and they attract & trap dust and hair on wood floors or tile. Super easy for quick cleanups before visitors come or for mid-week maintenance when you don't want to do a thorough sweep & mop. If they don't have a comparable product in NZ, I have a feeling I will need to make room in our shipping crate for lots of Swiffer boxes.

You can get things a bit like it in the Warehouse. I'm not really sure what they're called though. It's a mop handle and you get various cloths that attach to a pad at the bottom.
(I have to confess I have a cleaner as I am a lazy moo which is why I don't know the name...)

No you can't. Somehow my Swiffer pads got packed but not the Swiffer itself. So I would be happy to send you my pads since I can't use them! The other thing that I had a hard time finding here is a broom. I don't know the name but it is the kind that you actually sweep back and forth with vs. the push kind....most brooms here are the push kind...
