Just thought we would start a thread to gather good wishes and messages for Amanda, Dan, Jack & Ella so they can read it once they log back on upon arrival back in York, England and know we are all sending them happy thoughts.

I know everyone has wished them well prior to their departure, but this is meant to be a collection of happy 'welcome home' messages for the family Leach.

BaldyBeardyBloke, PinkPiggy, Joe & Dylan.

Welcome home Leachio - take a deep breath, savour the moment and move on. You've done what's right and you would never have known what you needed to do unless you did the NZ thing in the first place. (I hope you're following this) What I am trying to say is don't have any regrets - everything you've done before is what makes you what you are today.

Enjoy and don't forget us. You can enjoy NZ by proxy now without the hassle!

Welcome home guys.

I hope you had a safe journey and that you soon get over your jet lag.

Put all the hard times you had in NZ where they belong in the past and look forward to a happy and contented future.

Keep in touch won't you...

Welcome home!

Hope all goes well for you, I wish you all the best of luck for the future. You'll never be part of the 'what if' brigade and that takes courage, as did coming back. Onwards and upwards!!:yes

I left the lights on in York, and told all the tourists to divert to Durham so you had the streets to yourself. Give my regards to beautiful Yorkshire, and give yourself a massive pat on the back for getting back safely and soundly xxx

Ahhhh Sam, are u not satisfied seein me cryin holdin on 2 ur wife on sunday u go and be even sweeter!!!! Its really wierd readin welcome home posts written while we were flyin!!!!

ANYWAY WE ARE HOME :clap :clap :clap

It has been emotional and beautifull and worth EVERY SINGLE penny/cent!!! I will never forget Dans mums face when we walked through arrivals, and every 20mins thereafter for that matter :laugh Ella bless her just looked them up and down cos she doesn't remember them, however as the day progressed she has been dancin with grandad in the front room and has taken nanna upstairs to play several times (no stair gates!!) Even Dan whom I have had concerns re his desire to come home, has said more than once it is lovely to be home and is perfect to see his parents interact with the kids again.

So we are home safe and sound with not too many tantrums on route but we r pretty beat so will go for now and thank you all for your kind words, enjoy ur summer!!!

Nope, gonna make you suffer like the evil witch that you are. Fancy leaving us all and abandoning us in our hour of need, just to persue your own selfish happiness. Don't you realise the pain, suffering and devastation you've left behind you.

Who is Dylan going to have those long, in-depth, meaningful conversations with now?

Who is going to shamelessly borrow our hoover and send it back full?

Don't even think of ever darkening our doorstep again

...........

:laugh <- Just in case anyone thought that was serious ! :p

Just glad you're in a happy place now.
