I would if you can bring suntan lotion if Boots still do their amazing 3 for 2 deals as its pretty expensive out here. I have not seen calpol out here but you do get neurofen for children. (but Master 2 had tonsilitus he was perscribed a paracetamol thats pink & smells like calpol) hope this helps a bit.

The price of general toiletries here can vary wildly, but on the whole is just a little bit more expensive than UK. There is no calpol here...the equivalent here is Pamol, which seems to work just as well and is a similar price in my local chemist.

As for suncream...you will go through loads more here than in UK, if you follow sun safe advise. Although it would be worth stocking up before you come, remember that it has a use by date and that you will need high factor (over 30). I have found that the Cancer Society does the best price sun cream here, so far. You can also buy it in bulk from their website...they seem to do deals periodically. You are most likely to get burnt from October to December as that is when the ozone is at it's thinnest....won't go into scientific talk about why, but most people assume you are most at risk during the hottest months....December to February, but this is actually not the most risky time (although you will probably spend more time outside during these months).
