WE cant believe it but our approval in principle has arrived this morning along with our case officer. We can't believe it has actually happened. The sale of the house seems to be going through ok so now after we have sent the necessary stuff in we can start making a move. We are aiming now for January sometime. We are so excited that we can't think straight at the moment. We have told our families in NZ and they are thrilled. The eldest son and his partner are coming home for Christmas and ging back for New Year. He is not settling too well and wants to come and see how he feels when he gets back here. Maybe he will settle down more when we get there.we are hoping anyway.....A lot of work, sorting out and a lot of tears are going to be shed but I am sure it will be worth it in the end............and excited Jan

Thank you everyone, I don't know what to do with myself today and am very unsettled. Think I am still excited and can't believe the news LOL Seems so much to do now and such a mammoth task... but I am going to try and enjoy it.

Not nosey at all that is what we are here for I thought. We aren't wanting a job as we are retiring over there. Not sure on what the abbreviations are for. We applied in Hamilton and it was taking that long that we asked them to transfer to London. We rang on Monday to see if they had arrived and they told us to send a fax which we did. Today we get the letter, with the approval in principle and a case officer. Wish we had gone through London in the first place which they did say that they were going to in Hamilton......Hope that helps
