I think we may have found a suitable rental in Albany. Does anyone have any experience with Oteha Valley School? I am planning on checking it out before we commit to rental, as it is nearest school. It looks small and friendly from the prospectus, but haven't visited yet.
In fact, has anyone managed to get a 4 year old into school over here? The local school near our current rental won't :( . Daughter isn't 5 until April next year, but would have started school in September if we were still in UK. As this will be our 5th move in 8 months, I don't want to unsettle her anymore by putting her in Kindy for only couple of weeks, then summer holiday and then only few more weeks, then move...again...to school.
She has done full time pre-school in UK and is so bright she is now teaching herself to read and write (she learnt the technique from a Charlie & Lola DVD :roll ). I personally think she is really ready for school, not just academically but socially too.
