Hi all,
we submitted our second ITA which was received on the 15th October, just 3 days before the 4 month deadline!!
We did this 2 and a half years ago but we withdrew at the last stage after submitting the ITA when my wife found out that she had thyroid cancer. The nice people at NZIS would not let us re-instate our application and would not refund our application fee, and this time it's even more money as everything has gone up since then!

Anyway, the new one is in, we had a medical assessment last year and they said that as long as my wife's condition remains as it is now, we would get a medical waiver! So we submitted an EOI in May and received ITA a month later which was a lot faster that we thought it would be! (with no job offer)

Have sent the ITA and now we are waiting for the allocation of a case worker, it states on the NZIS London site that case officers are being allocated files up to the 25th July week ending 5th August, just over 2 months. Can anyone confirm that this is true or is it longer?? Also, anyone send theirs after this that has a CO by now???

Thanks in advance
Nick

Nick,

We submitted our ITA on 9th July. Unfortunately, we still haven't heard anything yet. That's 3.5 months. Very frustrating.

obviously the NZIS London processing times are not quite correct!
I don't know how they work really, our EOI was selected and we had ITA within a month, others seem to take ages. Maybe we will have to wait longer now?????

Thanks for the replies
Nick
