Hello again
My husband is a project manager & has a job with Telecom NZ.
Were not sure where in Wellington yet, would be interested to hear of any good/bad places. Were planning on renting until we know the areas & then we will buy.
I can't believe we will be ready in time, already having sleeples nights

Hi and welcome to the forum, sounds like things are moving fast. We managed it in 8 weeks and in some ways I think it is better it all happens so quickly as you just have to get on with it. We did have to get a temp visa as we couldn't get PR sorted in time.

Good luck with it all and just ask away, someone usually can answer.

Thanks for that Jo, it's good to know it can be done, I did wonder, maybe I should start looking at a temp visa? Is there any chance they will speed through the EOI & ITA if we tell them David needs to start in January do you think?

It is definitely worth a try, have you submitted you EOI yet?

I would start you application for PR and see how it goes and if nearer the time it doesn't look like you are going to get it then apply for a Temp Visa.

Bu t I think you will need a visa in one form or another to book one-way flights. When we booked ours the company we booked them through called us to double check we had the correct visa in place.
