Our plane leaves in 8 hours! Now it's just killing time in our empty apartment until we're ready to go to the airport. The last week all happened so fast. The cats left on Tuesday and arrived safely yesterday. After all the hassle their process has been, I can't tell you how relieved I am that it all worked out in the end. I'm embarrassed to say my first reaction was to sit back against a wall and almost cry. So they're waiting for us now in quarantine. They did the trip stuffed into crates without any of the entertainment and refreshment perks we get, so our turn should be a breeze in comparison! Canada has given us a glorious autumn goodbye and I feel very ready to start a new phase of my life. NZ, here we come! :raebanana

I'm glad your cats are ok. I'll bet they're partying in quarantine, not that they'll let you know that when you arrive. We got back from a holiday late September and we're still paying for it.

I must admit, the pet shipping is the most anxiety provoking part of it all for me. We haven't even started the process yet!
