Oh..if only children would go to bed at bedtime. My son fell asleep on the lounge floor today....he was asleep for 2 minutes, if that. And now....he's off to bed for the fourth time....might stay there eventually :roll

Yours aren't the only ones, mine have been in bed since 7 and have been in and out, playing, reading books, think they might have finally settled :nice1

Peace................ now where's that glass of wine :o

I'm not looking forward to moving our fella out of the cot, all hell will break loose! he rumbles around for about half an hour before dropping off, gawd knows what he will get up to when he has free reign!

Kids, eh?

We used to sit on the bed next to our son for sometimes even an hour before he fell asleep.... if we didn't stay with him he would be out of bed before we had a chance to close the door.
That changed fortunately about half a year ago and now he just stays in bed!:clap

I'm on my own tonight.

Daughter - 8 - is at Brownie Camp
Son - 15 - is staying at his mates.
Son - 18 - is at work.
Hubby - 50 (lol) - is in Taupo playing golf.

Only one left with me is our puppy....

Our older 2 were out of cot really early only a couple of days after first birthday...climbers:roll We put a safety gate in bedroom door, so they couldn't escape. Worked a treat until they discovered they could roll back the edge of the carpet and pull up bits of the rubber underlay.....for some bizaar reason they both picked up this habit.

Still it's nearly 11 and 2 year old FINALLY asleep, after 11 times getting out of bed!

Neither of my children seem to need much sleep, so we let them read for as long as they want to. No good for a 2 year old though...

We let 4 year old read if she can't sleep sometimes, but I'd have to practically tie the 2 year old down for him to stay still long enough to read:roll
