I have to say what a wonderful site this is. I had to join just to say thanks, so many questions we had have been answered. My PR application has been submitted already and our "estimated" departure to NZ is March 08. The house has been sold (Aug 07) and we are in a short term rental property. So far so good, although the medical process and getting everything ready for the application was stressful enough! let alone moving and trying to pack for overseas and the rental. Trying to remain calm and relaxed. Estimate furniture etc to go in Feb 08 ahead of us, + 1 dog to go 2 weeks ahead. But still to sort the dogs passage! If I can be of any help to anyone please get in touch. Thanks again to all and I'll keep reading too!:cheers

ps well done with your housd ours has just gone on the market, had 4 viewings, one low offer & one coming back in an hour, trying to keep the place clean & tidy with a 2 year old making a mess is great :D

Thanks for all the welcomes guys! To Lindsay,we have several quotes on shipping the dog and they vary quite a bit. Got some info from the forum that I need to follow up and get more quotes, We kinda want to wait to a bit nearer the time as a lot of the quotes seemed to only last for 14-28 days. I will let you know the out fit we choose and eventually the results though.

You dont say where you are located, but I assume its the UK somewhere, as rules for quarantine of animals etc is different for UK and NOrth America.
