I would chase them up. I am with the London office but mine arrived about three days after the draw. My understanding was that it would be within two weeks. Kim

I was also in the 26/09 pool. Received Today a letter from NZIS Hong Kong confirming the selection and that my case will be handle by NZIS Bangkok once a case officer assigned.
There is no information about the average process time by the BangKok branch but it seems to be fairly slow according some threads.

Hello Syed,
We are in mainland on the other side of the Pearl River Delta and we are French. We've got a letter from NZIS in HK which is just the written confirmation of what I've seen on the NZIS website a month ago, so no real progress.
The case office must still check the EOI so I could loose some points (145 with no job offer) and perhaps go back to the pool.
Don't know if Bangkok is quicker than Beijing and in fact I'm not in hurry since we don't expect to leave China before 2009. Lot of things to see/do here. This summer, we have been in a one month 8000km trip with our 4WD chinese car in Sichuan/Yunnan it was tough but fantastic. We want to go next year in inner Mongolia.
Are you in the IT field?
Cheers

Hi BMI
I am here in Hangzhou, working for US Networking products and software company. I have been in China for more than 5 years. We can keep in touch by PM, so if you need my mobile no or any other help, please PM me. We are in the same boad, but with totally different situation.
As my job location, master degree and my partner are all from China, I will have different and unique treatment....
so lets hope for the best...
I think despite your confirmation letter, your process will start after 3 to 4 months, and as you have a lot of time, every thing will be smoothly.
I am planing to move in July 2008 or after Beijing Olympics...again if every thing goes smoothly..
Enjoy China

My status has changed to "Decision Successful". Things are going faster than I expected and now I have to rush to collect all the documents and get the translations.
I Submitted my EOI (125 pts, no job) on sept. 26, thinking that the ITA would arrive in December.
Best luck to you all.
