Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience of the Rydges hotel in Auckland? OH has made a reservation for April to stay for 9 days and wondered if anyone could advise if its ok/good location etc..

Yes but it can be cancelled up until the day before arrival at no charge, we don't pay until we check out, so if anyone has a better suggestion on hotel choices we could move.

Its fine - I've stayed there a couple of months ago for a works do. Its pretty central, close to sky city, only a couple of blocks from queen street and not too far from the harbour. My favourite hotel so far in AKL is the Copthorne Harbour as it looks across the harbour and every room has a harbour view, abd its near the uber cool bars on the harbour, but Rydges is a good brand, central location etc, so you should be just fine.
