Can anyone recommend a good cattery in Auckland.

It doesn't matter which area, as I am more than willing to travel to take my cat to a really good one. I've found loads online, and am in the process of contacting several to go and visit them, but would like some personal recommendations too.

I really want one where my cat has a decent amount of space and is able to go outside - albeit in a pen, rather than one where he will be confined to being indoors the entire time.

He stays at the cattery at the vet when I go for short trips away, but as this will be for longer (2+ weeks) I'm looking for something which can offer a bit more.

Cost isn't an issue. (Nothing but the best for my boy!)

Kerry, we use airport pet hotel for the dog, they also have a cattery. If the cats get looked after as well as the dogs, they will be very happy!

Depends where you live but we use the Catnap Boarding Cattery in Pukekohe.
It's for a cats only holiday, they are very reasonable and you can leave your boy's food, blankets etc. with him if need be.
We have 2 house cats who have never been away from home until we brought them with us to NZ and I would definitely use this cattery again and again. It was recommended to me by my boss.
