I am wanting to apply for our IRD numbers before we get to NZ - but we are asked our home address in New Zealand - and as yet we dont have that - can anyone suggest what we should do there - or maybe leave it and do it when we get to NZ.

Will they take a P.O. Box address? If so, someone could open one for you here so you at least have an address. That's what we did when we arrived until we found a rental. Just a thought....

Hi, we just put our UK address, and they we're fine about it, we know have IRD numbers

You do not need a NZ address I have just received ours, all they ask is you update them as soon as you have an address in New Zealand.:cheers

We made the mistake of waiting until we got here before applying and it took about 3 weeks for the numbers to arrive
