Hey all!

I think I'm second guessing myself here. On the recognized work experience page (G1, etc), it says "Please indicate why you believe this work experience should be recognised. (For example, it is relevant to your recognised qualification, or your skilled employment). "

Did you fill it out like a resume/application or did you literally explain why they should accept it as skilled empoyment?

If you think this is bad, you should see me on a multiple choice test....

M,

We put the following kind of short description - slightly tailored where appropriate - under each of our principal applicant's employer entries:

"Directly related to recognized qualification and skilled employment category: Design and implement ballet curriculum; teach regular classes; make student placement descisions and evaluate teachers; choreograph dances for end of year shows. "

This, it goes without saying, is for the NZ job category Dancing Teacher & Choreographer (duh - it's not for Powerboat Technician, is it?)

I should note that our status is still 'Selected', by the way, so we don't know if this approach is acceptable.

Cheers,
Matt.
