Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help with this one -

We have PR (myself, the prinicpal applicant, spouse and kids) and have been in NZ a year. If we split up, can only the principal applicant get their RRV or will the rest of the family be granted it, even though the main applicant has left the family home?

Could spouse and kids be sent back to the UK if we have separated?

And does this ruin chances of us all gaining citizenship, except the principal applicant, if the family are allowed to stay?

how sad when a relationship doesn't work out. As for rrv I would suggest contact the NZIS.

There was a documentary on tv last week about this happening but in OZ they let the wife stay but that was because the husbad had been arrested on a domestic abuse charge, so they deem the fault lied with him not her.
