Hi Mates

I was about to send my full assesement application to NZQA but then stoped.
One of the kind lady in Immigration office Shanghai (China) told me that I may not need full assessment, so wait for Singapore office decision. She told me that, after selected from the pool, my application is being reviewed in Singapore Office, and they will ask for NZQA full assessment or send you ITA...

Any one with the same situation ?

Will Singapore office ask for full assessment before decision successful and then send me ITA after verification
OR
will they first send me ITA and then ask me submit the NZQA along with my ITA application?

Little bit confused....:uhoh

thanks all

My NZQA assessment was asked for along with the information I received with my ITA. I guess if you think you will probably need the NZQA assessment and you feel that you are likely to be invited to apply for residency (ie get an ITA) then maybe it is worth getting the NZQA assessment done early as it can take some time. Maybe it all depends on how much of a rush you are in and if you don't mind spending the money on the NZQA assessment (which you may find out later you didn't need to do).

Hope this helps!

Hi jimmigee

Thanks for your great response.
I contacted NZI office here, and they said if your qualification is in the list, then you don't need NZQA. As they will ask me for NZQA along with ITA, I will wait now. I wish they do not bother me.
Money is not a problem, but the main issue is the employer's experience or reference letter, which might cause problem for me. My employer is not that much democratic.
Thanks again
