Can anyone point me to some websites for the NZ curriculum for this agegroup or have any info?

I figure Maths, DT, English & Science etc. is pretty similar but what historical events would be useful to my kids? The sort of stuff all the other kids will know.

Here in the UK they have learned about the Great Fire of London, Guy Fawkes, The Romans, Florence Nightingale & Mary Seacole, Victorian Toys.

What does this age group learn in NZ?

Thanks for the first link; hadn't come across that one and its got lots of general information that could be very useful to many parents of young children.

Thanks or the links Oregonkiwi, they will be particularly useful for us as I will be homeschooling when we first arrive in NZ, so knowledge of the curriculum will help to make the transition back into mainstream a smooth one.
