We haven't been - and may not be. But I've got a question for those who have failed once they've submitted their ITA. Is there an appeal process? We've submitted our ITA and are just waiting for a decision but are worried because of a few health issues. Has anyone failed at the final hurdle and then gone to appeal?

Not failure here Charles, nor do I know anybody, but just posting to wish you good luck.
It isn't the end of the world if you don't make it, even if it may feel like that to you if it is what you have your heart set on. But maybe it is just an indication of moving in a different direction.
But good luck vibes coming your way from Cambridge NZ.

Same here, fingers crossed time again from everybody I think. It worked for Lee Bennett and his cashflow dilemma, so maybe we can work the ENZ power again for you guys.
Best wishes from Hamilton.

We did have a slight hick up with our ITA. OH job offer did not fit the criteria, not permanent. Our case officer e-mailed us a letter outlining all the points we had claimed and which ones we couldn't and the reasons why. We then had 30 days to appeal. We were lucky as OH's company then made his contract, on day 28, permanent so we got the majority of points back and our application was processed.
I would think for medical reasons the process would be similar as in you would have 30 days to respond.
Good luck with it all.
