Welcome to the forum. Not in your age bracket any more (sadly - much closer to 40 than 20), but in Hamilton. Happy to offer advice on the area, and I'm certain you'll find friends in your own age group very quickly, especially if you have a job to come over to.

Hey Rachel,

I'm heading out to Hamilton next week; I'm 25 and will be working at the hospital. I'm going alone and don't know anyone yet - having said that, i will have hopefully met some people by march when you arrive so should be able to introduce you to a whole bunch of fab people!! I'm pretty outgoing and sociable too; looking forward to making new friends. Have you got a job sorted out then?
