Hi, quick question (or three) about the selection dates for EOIs… the latest one was Wednesday 7th Nov (today in the UK), but is this in UK or NZ time? And what is the cut-off time/date for submitting the EOI? We only submitted them yesterday afternoon, (about 3am on 7th Nov in NZ…) Are we likely to be included in this round?

Also, how long after the selection date does it take to hear whether you’ve been selected?

Cheers,

Will

The selection time starts at 7 AM NZ time. I saw my status changing to SELECTED on the selection day at approx. 4 p.m NZ time.

I am pretty sure you will be included if you submitted at 3 a.m on the selection day. I am assuming that 3 am is the time that is when your payment is confirmed on the NZIS web site.

I would keep my fingers crossed if i were you. :nice1

You will be able to see the beautiful word 'selected' on the NZIS site where you filled in the eoi (IE log in) if you have been lucky.
I actually received a letter from NZIS in NZ about 10 days later, which I didn't expect, just confirming selection and sent to London office for inspection.

Great feeling, congratulations.
Try and get some sleep. ;)
Time depends on where you are and what you claimed.
Jobs done 1st, otherwise London is 3 months till they look at it.

Congratulations....Great feeling ...
You should wait for the maximum time, that is over 3 months, again depends on your location, job offer or so on...
Just get ready for the next response within 3 to 4 months....
This time is really booring, specially when no one from INZ contact you..then things will be fine...

good luck

I have a job lined up already, 225 points, my wife has 240 points with a job offer, so hopefully we'll be near the top of the list... hoping to be flying out in 4 months.
