We've just found ou that the transit hotels are all booked up for next week, so we need an alternative place to sleep on our stopover in Singapore next week.

We just want somewhere near the airport, as we don't want to waste time travelling as we'll arrive at night and leave early the next morning.

Any ideas?

Cheers

I have no idea what is happening in Singapore on the 13th & 14th November but there are hardly any rooms and Wotif has some hotels charging between $800 - $1459 (singapore dollars) for rooms that can be about $200 - $500!

Maybe the price you pay for booking last minute in Singapore!?!

Have you tried tripadvisor (http://www.tripadvisor.com/)

They still have some listed for those days as still available for under US$100 (don't know what that works out in singapore dollars?)
