I'm sure this must have been covered before, but I don't seem to be able to find any of the info I need anymore...
But, once the container has arrived, how long does it take to get to you? (I'm just wondering when I can start getting excited - the ship carrying my container is due to arrive in Auckland on Monday!)

Hi
Ours arrived on 3rd July and cleared customs and was in storageon the 4th. We had to go to where the storage holds are which ours were near the airport and sign some paperwork. All we had to do was then find a house which we di and we had our container on the 14th Kuly but we could of had it on the 4th if we wanted. Just make sure you make arrangents with the Shipping compnay this end to deliver when you are ready. So if it is due to arrive on Monday, phone them as they will know and arrange the delivery. MAF will come to you but they will explain that to you or if you want any more info, ask away.
Nice to have you own things around you.
Good Luck

3 days for us, but that was because I didn't want it to come any earlier because I was at work.

A week from arrival in NZ, but that was because the container was unloaded from the ship in Napier and had to be transported to Wellington.

Our stuff was shipped groupage (i.e. not sole container usage) so took a little longer as it had to be unloaded at removal company depot, inspected and then loaded onto trucks to come to us. Must have been about 10 working days in total.
